Next week is November! How did that happen?!?
On September 29th, the Middle School Chinese class invited two guests, Elizabeth and Eric, from Taiwan who came to Tucson to visit their family, . The couple runs a Youtube channel with 210 thousand followers. Elizabeth is an American who speaks Mandarin fluently, and Eric is Taiwanese. This is actually their second time visiting IST. This time we did “Children’s reactions for trying Taiwanese snacks”, it was an interesting experience and a wonderfully fun time together.

It was great seeing all of the kids in costume today! The Halloween parade (and dance for the big kids) is tonight and our Dia de los Muertos celebration is next Tuesday. Lots going on and keeping everyone busy – before we know it, it will be Thanksgiving!
