It was a beautiful week at IST!
Pima County Health Department came out on Tuesday and vaccinated some of our students ages 5-11 and gave boosters to adults. Overall, they gave out over 150 vaccines!! A HUGE thank you to parents Lisa and Katie for volunteering and to the Pima County Health Department for making this pop-up possible!
That same afternoon, our running club and J3 student, Caleb, hosted a Run-a-thon. All the money raised will go to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation. It is a nonprofit that provides financial support to the families of injured or deceased firefighters, police officers, military members and other emergency services workers. Thank you to Mrs. Abbey, Caleb, the running club for organizing the event and to our parent volunteers – it was a huge success!!
