Coming back from Thanksgiving, it’s always fun to see the kids’ (especially our littlest ones) reactions to all of the decorations hung by our ISTPA holiday elves. A huge thank you to all who helped. As most of our decorations are “Christmas-y” we are looking for donations of items from other cultures that celebrate holidays in December (Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Boxing Day, etc) to display around the school as well. Thank you!
This past Tuesday we ran another successful vaccination clinic and most of our students were able to get their second doses. All COVID policies will continue to remain in place.
Nursery and Preschool Expo is rapidly approaching (Thursday, Dec. 9) – we hope that all parents are able to come out to the school on this evening and see all of the wonderful things their children have been working on all semester.
Junior and Middle School students are preparing for their end of semester exams – December 6-10. They’ve all been working so hard this semester and I’m so proud of all of them.
Due to COVID, we are unable to safely hold our “Winter Concert & Market” once again. I am hopeful we will be able to bring a modified version of this back next year. ISTPA will be holding their holiday light parade this year on the 16th of December instead and all of the classes will be working on the set-ups again this year… please see ISTPA’s emails for more information!
Last day of the semester is Thursday, Dec. 16th. Please remember the whole school is closed Friday, the 17th and then the 24th through the 31st of December. Nursery school runs a normal program Dec. 20-23 and Jan. 3-7. Winter camp is available on these dates for the preschool and junior school.
December is going to fly by! Enjoy it!
