COVID-19 Information
At the International School of Tucson, we are committed to doing everything we can to keep our school community as healthy and safe as possible while keeping our children in school and continuing in-person learning.
We have been very fortunate to have guidance from our “COVID SWAT team” since March 2020. The SWAT team is comprised of a group of parents who are experts in their field (infectious disease doctor, pediatrician, epidemiologist, pediatric nurse, and an attorney to name a few) and have been following all of the research carefully and advising us accordingly with regards to policy and guidelines.
Effective March 28, 2022:
- Masks will be optional for all students, staff, and visitors
- We are using the following screening tool for all staff and students:
COVID-19 Return to Work/School Flow Chart - Cleaning, Sanitizing, Disinfecting, and Ventilation Guidelines
